Cressi Neon Dive Computer - 2-Gas Nitrox Watch Freedive - Blue. The Cressi Neon is a stylish wristwatch sized, two Air and Nitrox gas capable, wrist dive computer for scuba diving, with added freediving apnea and gauge modes.

Despite the optional bright colour accents, the Neon isn't really about flash. What impressed testers was its simple operation, easy-reading display and pleasing ergonomics. The two-button control makes it a snap to navigate menus, and the high-contrast display is easy to see and understand, with info clearly labeled. "Basic functionality, but a joy to use and operate," one tester observed. Test divers noted the Neon's arm-friendly size, but our calipers showed it's only millimeters less than some here; the trick is the recessed band lugs that make it seem smaller. One gripe was the lack of Bluetooth, which requires a download cable. But testers gave it top scores for intuitive operation, display quality and ergonomics. Slightly conservative in our chamber dives, the Neon is our Testers Choice for computers that cost less than US$500.

After the successful Leonardo, Giotto, Newton, Drake, Goa, and Cartesio, Neon is the seventh project designed, developed and produced in Italy 100% by its subsidiary Cressi Elettronica. The Cressi Neon has a diameter of only 48 mm and a high contrast display of 37 mm. This makes it a scuba diving and apnea wristwatch sized computer of extremely reduced dimensions.
The Cressi Neon supports up to two Air and Nitrox gases. As you ascend from a dive the Neon will begin to flash as soon as the maximum operational depth of the second mix has been reached. This tells you that, at that depth, and lesser depths, gas switching is possible.
It is also an ideal watch for other underwater activities, thanks to the deactivation option of the 'dive' functions that avoids unnecessary alarms ringing while you're snorkeling or swimming.
The display is made of scratch-resistant sapphire crystal mineral glass which is extremely durable. A bump-on adhesive protector, flexible and completely transparent available.
The Cressi Neon has a super-flat profile (maximum height 14 mm), completely rounded, hydrodynamic design that prevents potential snagging. Even the wristband anchor maintains the low profile of the case. Total case diameter is 48 mm, with a screen diameter of 38 mm. It weighs only 70 grams.
It's protected by a heavy duty, rounded stainless steel crown with integrated low-profile steel buttons that have an underwater resistance of up to 120 metres. The four low-profile buttons have minimised clearance to ensure that the O-ring seal is watertight during perpendicular use and to prevent small particles or grains of sand from entering that could impact performance.

The CR2450 battery is easily replaceable by the user. Battery life approximately 4 years.
