Mares XR Sidemount Butt Plate

The Mares XR Sidemount Butt Plate is a tough addition to the bottom of your backplate to add straight rails to attach the base of your sidemounted stage cylinders. The 1200D Ballistic Nylon material is incredibly hard wearing and the marine grade 316 stainless steel handles are corrosion resistant.

Transform you harness into a side mount set-up with this butt-plate! The butt plate is made from 1200D bulletproof ballistic nylon with a Polyphrene hydro-drainage comfort padding. 4 holes along the bottom allow for the mounting of any harness as well as adding accessories. Provides the proper amount of rigidity to hold tanks in position and eliminate sag.

Two stainless steel 316 marine grade handles are used for tank attachment. Allows divers to transform their existing harness and buoyancy compensating wing into a rig capable of side-mounting tanks.
